An easier way to connect five mail providers
Aerogram offers IMAP / SMTP setup assistants for OVHcloud, iCloud, Yahoo, Infomaniak and AOL, with settings and help links suited to each choice.
How this helps
There are fewer technical settings to copy, and password instructions are close at hand. You can still check login details, receiving and sending separately.
A practical example
You add an address on your own domain hosted by OVHcloud. Choose MX Plan and your service region, review the suggested settings, then test the connection before adding the mailbox.
In practice
In Add a mailbox, the five buttons open guided forms. Other IMAP / SMTP mailbox keeps manual setup available.
OVHcloud distinguishes MX Plan, Email Pro and Exchange. MX Plan asks for the Europe or Canada region. For Email Pro and Exchange, copy the server shown in your OVHcloud control panel: no server number is guessed. A custom domain does not identify the provider or plan automatically.
iCloud requires an app-specific password and two-factor authentication on your Apple Account. Sending uses your full iCloud address. The IMAP username remains editable following Apple’s guidance, which may require the part before @ or the full address.
Yahoo and AOL require an app password. Creating one depends on account eligibility and may remain unavailable, particularly for a recent account. Infomaniak uses a device password for the mail address, separate from the account password and passwords for contacts or calendar apps. Official help links explain these steps.
Advanced settings keeps servers, ports, usernames and separate passwords accessible when needed. The test checks the selected protocols; successful receiving does not validate sending. These assistants reuse existing IMAP / SMTP connections and do not guarantee that every account is allowed access by its provider.
