Settings that are easier to navigate

Aerogram divides the six settings categories into focused subsections, with navigation adapted to your screen width and search that opens the right view directly.

Available since 12 October 2026

How this helps

Reach the setting you need with less information on screen at once. The category path and back buttons help you keep your bearings without losing entries you are working on.

A practical example

To choose what notifications reveal, open Notifications, then Notification content. Visit Quiet hours next and return to the first form: your entries are still there, ready to save when you decide.

In practice

On a large screen, three columns show the categories, their subsections and the form. In a medium-sized window, subsections sit beneath the selected category in the sidebar. On mobile, lists and forms appear one after another, with a back button to return to the previous level.

Appearance and use groups Theme, Language, Reading and Shortcuts and gestures. Writing and sending separates Sending and undo, Senders and Signatures. Files and storage offers Link sharing, Storage usage and Retention and backups. Mailboxes starts with the list before opening the settings for a particular mailbox.

Search covers setting titles and keywords, never your mail. It shows the path and opens the matching view directly. Existing settings links still work. Going back or changing views preserves your entries but does not replace the save button when a form requires one.

Each setting still states its scope: this device, your Aerogram account, the whole workspace or one mailbox. The theme applies to the device; language follows your account across devices. Mailbox names, drafts and signatures remain your own content.

Staging preview, 13 October 2026: your profile photo can be cropped inside a circular mask with a mouse, touch or the keyboard. The small preview helps you choose the crop; Save avatar applies the photo and Cancel keeps the previous one. This personal setting is under Aerogram account → Profile, separate from mailbox images.
